Power Control Module |

|
The Power Control Module is an innovative, intelligent and programmable solid state module that replaces relays and circuit breakers, simplifies wiring harnesses and provides diagnostic capabilities. The PCM has been homologated by FIA for use in WTCC touring cars. The PCM is ultra compact (197x 107 x 46 mm, including the Autosport connectors) and lightweight (only 840 grams). It provides an effective and inspired alternative to conventional relays, circuit breakers, fuses and wires that can so often be a tangle of complexity and untidiness around a typical racing car’s power junction box. The user software clearly displays the electrical status of the complete car. Any problem is automatically highlighted, making error tracing so much easier. The PCM exchanges data with other modules in the car primarily via CAN. It is controlled either entirely via CAN (up to 32 individual CAN channels available) or by combining CAN channels with virtual channels (up to 15 channels available) and additional 11 conventional input switches. Its CAN communication is highly sophisticated and programmable by the user to suit almost any installation requirements. The clever design allows an optimum integration with other modules in the car - with for example: During 2008 the PCM has successfully been used in: - LMES
